Work Description:
A downtrodden farmer figure stands and leans his back against what is most likely a plow. He wears blue jeans, an unbuttoned white shirt, and brown work shoes. His proper right sleeve is torn at the elbow and hangs off his arm, and his hands are grossly enlarged. His face is elongated to emphasize his weariness. A long staff-like tool leans against the plow beside him, and several horses' backs and ears are visible behind him along the horizon line.
