Work Description:
|
Bare, unpainted dominates this composition with the exception of four completely isolated, disparate forms. The largest of the four is an irregularly-shaped black mass that hovers in the bottom right quadrant. Tiny dabs of blue are visible at the top right corner of this form. Just above the black shape, a smaller, yellow form created by several broad horizontal strokes hovers just left of center. A vertical mahogany form runs from the top center edge down towards the yellow form. Finally, a small, barely-visible white form rests along the bottom right edge, just below Still's signature.
