Work Description:
|
Five distinct shapes are fitted together at the lower center of this painting in amidst a flat creamy white backdrop. The primary and largest shape is bright yellow, which encompasses three of the smaller shapes: a gray wrench-like form at the bottom left, brownish-pink form at the bottom center, and a red blade-like shape directly above that. At the right of these four forms, a black passage is seen running off the edge of the work. A writhing line emerges from the bottom edge of the work and rises through the various shapes and up into the white area at top center. A red semi-circular line is painted at left center, within which are two small red dots next to one another. At the very top center of the work, a bit to the left of the line's apex, an orange dot floats serenely amongst the white palette knife strokes.
