PH-177 (1949) and PH-86 (1951) are on display from left to right. On view October 14 through December 5, 1982, the group exhibition featured a selection of paintings and sculptures by four major artists who had lived and worked in the state of Maryland. Organized in conjunction with the inauguration of the newly renovated East Wing, the museum presented each artist’s work in separate gallery spaces. Six loaned paintings represented Still in the exhibition.
