Work Description:
This color slide features an installation view at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. David Smith's sculpture "Becca" (1965) occupies the center of the gallery, partially obscuring Mark Rothko's "No. 16" (1960, cropped), which is on display in an adjacent gallery in the background. A portion of Jackson Pollock's "Autumn Rhythm (Number 30)" (1950, cropped) appears on the far left, followed by Adolph Gottlieb's "Thrust" (1959), Robert Motherwell's "Open Number 37 (in orange with charcoal line)" (1968), and Ellsworth Kelly's "Blue Green Red" (1963). Proceeding clockwise, Morris Louis's "Crest of Pillar" (1961), Jules Olitski's "Frame Extension" (1966), and Franz Kline's "Black, White, and Gray" (1959, cropped) line the walls to the right of a doorway.
