This color slide documents Clyfford Still's 1975 gift of twenty-eight paintings to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in California. The paintings lean against the walls of the unfinished T.B. Walker Gallery, which the museum designated as a permanent space to house the artworks. A portion of PH-245 (1956, cropped) extends from the left edge of the frame, followed by PH-920 (1974), PH-243 (1950-51), PH-135 (1945, cropped), PH-371 (1947, cropped), and PH-446 (1947). In the distance, PH-968 (1951-52, cropped) is unrolled on the floor behind the artist and two art handlers. In 1976, the museum presented the paintings in the exhibition "Clyfford Still", on view January 8 through April 20.
