This color slide documents Clyfford Still's 1975 gift of twenty-eight paintings to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in California. The paintings lean against the walls of the unfinished T.B. Walker Gallery, which the museum designated as a permanent space to house the artworks. From left to right, PH-966 (1959), PH-123 (1947), PH-591 (1936-37), PH-128 (1948), and PH-298 (1942) appear to the left of a cart, while PH-436 (1936, left) and PH-206 (1938, right) occupy the cart. Proceeding clockwise, PH-323 (1934), PH-198 (1943), and PH-84 (1952) line the partition to the right of the cart. PH-261 (1962, cropped), followed by PH-245 (1956, cropped), rest upon the wall to the right. In 1976, the museum presented the paintings in the exhibition "Clyfford Still", on view January 8 through April 20.
