Work Description: 
This color slide depicts an installation view of the exhibition “Paintings by Clyfford Still” at the Albright Art Gallery in Buffalo, New York. PH-337 (1950, cropped) occupies the far back wall on the left, followed by PH-223 (1956), which hangs on the partition in the foreground. A portion of PH-1139 (1957, cropped) appears on the right. On view November 5 through December 13, 1959, the retrospective featured seventy-two artworks curated by Still himself. In 1964, the artist made a landmark gift of 31 paintings to the museum.
