This black and white photograph features an installation view at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in California. PH-246 (1951-52) hangs on the left; PH-337 (1950), which was on loan to the museum from 1961-63, is on display to the right. John Stephan, who purchased PH-246 directly from the artist, loaned the painting to LACMA prior to gifting it to the Art Institute of Chicago in 1962.
