Work Description:
The majority of this massive horizontally-oriented painting has been left unpainted except for three tall, thin vertical forms running from the top to bottom edges. The largest of the three forms is painted a matte white pigment and divides the composition just left of center. A barely there, yellow "zip" or line runs parallel to the white form a little less than a foot to its left. Lastly, a thin strip along the left edge running from the bottom edge almost up to the top left corner is painted a dark red-maroon color. This painting reads as a negative complement to its sister work, PH-247.
