Work Description:
|
Focus is immediately drawn to the three white forms starkly contrasting the black background. These vertical, snake-like shapes are a result of the canvas being left intentionally blank. Each organic form has a wider base, tapering towards the top. Two of the three forms have yellow accents of paint on the interior, one with four vertical lines and the other with a circular swirl. The furthest left form has blue paint on the outside of its outline. A red horizontal line flows through the base of the canvas, never interrupting the forms, but highlighting their shapes. Yellowish green paint appears at the right side of the work, combining with the black of the background and slightly attaching itself to the far right form.
