Work Description:
|
Still paints his father looking off to his left and resting his cheek on his proper right hand. Only his head, hand, and forearm are visible, and the brownish background surrounds and impedes into the figure's outline at the bottom left. The work is also created with painterly strokes and several areas are left bare suggesting an unfinished quality that is ultimately counteracted by the artist's signature in the bottom right corner.
