Work Description:
In this almost fully abstract painting, a textural mauve form rises from the bottom edge of the canvas and splits into two vertical sections as it impedes upon the brown abyss covering the top half of the work. Within the mauve form, four smaller jagged black forms writhe in what seems to be an upwards motion. Each of these black forms has a red lifeline shooting through its center. An identical fifth black form enters the scene from the top center edge, splitting the two vertical mauve sections. Two sets of dots, one yellow and one white appear near the top of the composition, suggesting eyes. Three thin yellow lines fall from the the top of the black form at the far left, and a small blue form rises into the scene from the bottom right edge.
