Work Description:
|
The entirety of this composition is dominated by a strange multi-armed black figure with a white cone-shaped head painted onto a painterly green background. The striking white head is located at the top center of the work, and has a bold red "C" shaped stroke on its face. Various long black tendrils/lines fall from the head-like form down towards the bottom third of the composition where they gather in a boat-shaped mass and loop around a round void located at the bottom left. The bottom right corner of the canvas is painted with a brownish-red pigment, which creeps into the perimeter of the figure at its bottom right side.
