Work Description:
A rich black pigment fills this tall narrow composition from top to bottom and left to right. Five colorful passages float across the black field. Most prominently, a large, light brown blockish form enters from the top left edge and runs over to the work's center. Above this, sits a smaller, gray form, which rests at the composition's top left corner. An olive green passage hovers in the top right corner, and runs down along the right edge until it exits the scene about a third of the way up from the bottom on the right edge. Next, an isolated, ghostly white form is positioned in the works bottom right quadrant, and has a yellow sinuous core. Lastly, a tall, narrow dark red figure rises from the work's bottom left edge, travels up parallel to the left edge, and juts sharply to the right before curving upwards and ending near the top center. A faint halo-like stroke can be seen surrounding the red figure's crown, and a brighter red lifeline runs through its center, enlivening the form from within.
