Work Description:
A columnar vertical white form rises from the bottom edge of this small vertically-oriented canvas and runs parallel to the right edge. Two dabs of ocher pigment rest at the top right of the form, and a thin vertical band of yellow pigment hugs the left top edge of the form. A dense black pigment buttresses the white form on either side and expands into crescent-like forms near the bottom left. Thin, glossy brown streaks fall from the upper right edge of the white form and fall down off the bottom right edge of the work. A form with a similar composition of pigment floats at upper left amidst the swirling black and white background filling the rest of the work.
