Work Description:
|
PH-166 is covered primarily in thick black pigment with several commingling regions of deep brown at the right edge, left edge and bottom right corner. Two small, golden-yellow patches are set at the bottom right and contrast sharply with the brown and black background. A dark maroon area enters the composition from the top edge at left and has a bright red core. Several grayish-tan patches are scattered across this area at the top left. A single orange life-line falls from the top edge straight down into the dark void that fills the center of the composition.
