An expansive maroon field covers the majority of this monumental, horizontal composition. Only the top left corner, some of the top edge. and the top right corner have been left unpainted. Ocher and black forms rise into the maroon field from the bottom edge, and are highlighted by bolts of blue. A jagged, thick red lifeline juts vertically through the composition just right of center.
