Work Description:
|
A large orange jagged form hovers in the center and almost completely fills this vertically oriented composition. A dagger-like black form splits the orange form from its top edge, jutting down through its center. Two gray vertical columns of color are painted on either side of the orange form along the left and right edges of the canvas. A yellow, fiery form rises along the bottom edge between the two gray forms, and a similar white layer sits above the yellow directly below the orange. The top edge above the orange form is filled primarily with exposed canvas, with the exception of a small white passage entering the work from the top edge just left of center and a small magenta-red form hovering along the top edge just right of center.
