Work Description:
|
This painting depicts one to three dramatically stylized structures painted in bold, primary hues. The red, yellow, and bluish-green facades contrast with the dreary grayish-blue and brown surrounding landscape, which was loosely rendered with sharp palette-knife strokes. The cramped, flattened, and geometric composition may indicate some influence of cubism.
