Work Description:
Still depicts himself standing upright in a three-quarter profile view facing his right and looking out at the viewer with a calculating gaze. He wears a long dark coat over a shirt and tie, and rests his proper right hand on a ledge behind him. His proper left thumb is hooked into his coat pocket, so that his pointer finger actively points downward and his other three fingers hang idly at his side. Behind him a tan-colored wall is shown with thick, painterly strokes.
