Work Description:
The majority of this small, square-shaped canvas is covered in a rich sienna pigment. Fluttery dark brown forms are scattered throughout the sienna background, though are concentrated at the left center edge. At the core of some of these brown figures lies deep purple, linear strokes. Several small forms in varied colors seem to be randomly positioned over the work. The largest is a jagged shape at the bottom right corner composed of intermingling gold and black forms. Two significantly smaller gold forms are placed above in the top right corner. An orange craggy shape enters the scene from the lower left edge, and a light gray dagger-like shape with a blue core appears at the top center. Lastly, a bright red, bowed lifeline extends from the top left edge down and to the right, tapering off into a point near the right center edge.
