Work Description:
Still explored the dynamic quality of vertical lines in this work. Using black, gray, and yellow, three distinct vertical forms emerge, each showcasing an embrace between color and shape. The base of the form on the left is the black vertical line, surrounded by gray jagged shapes. An orange lifeline interrupts the solidity of color. A yellow vertical line flows vertically through the center of the painting, dancing around and avoiding the neighboring forms. The right form shows a thicker application of black, with gray entwining from the top. Two red horizontal splashes of color appear in the top center of the canvas.
