Work Description:
A bulky, abstracted figure is set within a blue impastoed setting. Thick, hulking shapes in shades of yellow, red and black are stacked on top and in front of one another to form the figure's torso. A bright white glow emanates either from the figure itself or from a source behind him and out of sight. An upright, grayish bone is depicted on the proper left side of the figure, and rises to form what might be the figure's shoulder. A single wavy gold line rises from his proper right hand at the bottom left, suggesting what may be a wheat stalk. Behind him, a bow-like black tool juts across the scene and off the left edge of the canvas.
