Work Description:
|
A pyramidal, intermingling mound of black, blue and brown linear forms rests in the center of this horizontal composition. The forms are set against a warm, gray background, which flows into and around several of the prominent forms at center thus flattening the picture plane and confusing one's spatial understanding of the work. A glowing white orb resides at the left center edge of the central mass, recalling a sun or moon and thus presenting the scene as an almost surrealistic landscape.
