Work Description:
|
A large mottled blue form rises from the lower left and bottom quadrants of this composition. Surrounded above and on the right side by a "toasted marshmallow"-colored white and cream pigment, the blue form is filled with highly saturated ultramarine blue pigment that in some areas appears almost black. A smaller, more matte, lighter blue form rises into the larger blue from the bottom edge just right of center. A bright red-orange jagged vertical form with yellow accents juts into the white pigment from the top left edge, reaching down almost to the top edge of the blue form. A small yellow form falls parallel to the left side of the orange form, but ends in a point shortly after entering the scene.
